High temperature heat content measurements of cobaltous oxide, cobalt spinel and nckelous oxide were conducted from 298 deg K to 1805, 999, and 1810 deg K, respectively. The heat content-temperature curve of nickelous oxide shows abrupt changes in slope at 525 and 565 deg K, indicating secondorder transformations. A table of heat content and entropy increments ahove 298.15 deg K and heat content equations are included for use in thermodynamic calculations. (auth)
