ANALYTICAL STUDIES OF BORON. VI. DETERMINATION OF BORON USING ION EXCHANGE RESIN

Journal Article · · Bull. Chem. Soc. Japan
DOI:https://doi.org/10.1246/bcsj.30.881· OSTI ID:4335582
When boric acid is treated with a cation exchange resin, it can be separated quantitatively from cations which co-exist with it. Such a separation procedure was applied to the determination of boron in steel, silicon, aad silicate rocks. For the determination of boron, a sample solution was passed through a cation exchange resin column and the effluent titrated with an alkaline solution. (auth)
