Guide and checklist for the development and evaluation of state radiological emergency response plans for fixed nuclear facilities

BS>A reference source is provided for Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) evaluators engaged in the review of and concurrence with State radiological emergency response plans. The AEC performs thesr functions under the responsibilities assigned by the Office of Emergency Preparedness (OEP) (now Federal Disaster Assistance Administration STAFDAA!) on January 24, 1973. Among other responsibilities, this assignment to AEC includes the development and promulgation of guidance to the States and localities, in coordination with other Federal agencies, for the preparation of radiological emergency response plans and for the review and concurrence with such plans. (CH) The design of a low- cost, emulation-oriented, dynamic microprogrammable processor is proposed. This machine is being built at Johns Hopkins University for use both as a research tool and as an instructional aid. Features of this machine include: fieldisolation instructions, flexible access to microprogram writable control memory, and convenient use of immediate data. (auth)
