The Elastic Photoproduction of Neutral Pions from Helium

In order to improve the reliability of measurements of He4 recoil particles from the reaction gamma + He4 - pi 0+ He4, an attempt was made to build a detector which would distinguish He3 from He4 particles. Results with this detector are given.
