Analysis of the method of attenuated Doppler shift considering the discontinuous slowing down process (in Russian)

In the calculation of the lifetimes of excited states it is proposed that the discontinuous slowing-down process be considered when the Doppler shift method is used. The analysis of the proposed method showed that accurate values of the lifetimes of excited states can be obtained by analysis of the shape of the gamma lines in those cases when the mechanism for the slowing down of the ions is known.
