MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF ZIRCALOY 2
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:4332466
Hydrogen contents, in amounts up to 400 ppm, had little effect on the tensile strength of Zircaloy-2; however, the tensile ductility was lowered considerably. The impact transition temperature increased with increasing amounts of hydrogen. The hot hardness and fatigue strength at 500 deg F were not affected by various amounts of hydrogen. (auth)
