Study of the levels of $sup 137$Ba and $sup 138$Ba excited in ($alpha$,xn) reactions on $sup 136$Xe (in Russian)

The gamma spectrum, angular distributions, and gamma -- gamma coincidence spectrum from ( alpha ,xn) reactions on /sup 136/Xe at bombarding energies of 20, 23, 26, and 29 MeV were measured. The energy levels of /sup 137/ Ba and /sup 138/Ba were obtained from these data. The experimental energy levels of /sup 138/Ba were compared with levels calculated using a delta -function force. The possible structure of the energy levels of /sup 137/Ba was given. (4 figures) (JSR)
