STUDIES OF JOINT SOLUBILITY OF URANYL NITRATE AND NITRATES OF ALKALI EARTH METALS IN WATER (in Russian)

Isothermic solubility was studied in ternary systems H/sub 2/ O, 25, and 50 d . The eutectoid point for this system was not found. Three solubiliiy curves corresponding to the solubility of tetrahydrate of strontium nitrate, anhydrous strontium nitrate, and hexahydrate of uranyl nitrate (transition points at 37.33% UO/sub 2/(NO/sub 3/)/sub 2/, 13.18% Sr(NO/sub 3/)/ sub 2/, and 5 UO/sub 2/(NO/sub 3/)/sub 2/, 4.78% Sr(NO/sub 3)/sub 2/ were found for UO/sub 2/( NO/sub 3/)/sub 2/-/sub 2/--Ca(NO/sub 3/)/sub 2/-H/sub 2/O at 0 to 2% d the eutectoid points are a t 6.75% UO/sub 2/(NO/sub 3/)/sub 2/ , 43.32% Ca(NO/sub 3/)/sub 2/,, and 7.92% UO/sub 2/NO/sub 3/)/sub 2/, 50.48% Ca(N O/sub 3/)/sub 2/, respectively. In the investigated systems, binary salts were not observed. (R.V.J.)
