Pion production on $sup 13$C by 185-MeV protons

Energy spectra of pions produced in the two reactions /sup 13/C(p, pi / sup +/) /sup 14/C and /sup 13/C(p, pi /sup -/)/sup 14/O at E = 185 MeV were measured in t he angular regions 15 deg - 130 deg (lab) and 35 deg - 130 deg (lab), respectively. Angular distribution for proton capture leading to the ground states in /sup 14/C and /sup 14/O was determined. (auth)
