SOME PHOTONEUTRON THRESHOLDS

The photeneutron thresholds for a number of elements which have 100% abundance (or nearly so) in one stable isotope have been measured. The following values in Mev were found: Na (12.47 plus or minus 0.05), Al (12.98 plus or minus 0.08), P (12.50 plus or minus 0.05), V (11.16 plus or minus 0.05), Mn (10.14 plus or minus 0.05), Co (10.44 plus or minus 0.05), As (10.24 plus or minus 0.05),Y (11.82 plus or minus 0.05), Nb (8.86 plus or minus 0.05), Rh (9.46 plus or minus 0.08), I (9.14 plus or minus 0.05), Cs (9.11 plus or minus 0.05), La (8.81 plus or minus 0.05), Pr (9.46 plus or minus 0.05), Tb (8.16 plus or minus 0.05), Ho (8.10 plus or minus 0.05), Tm (8.00 plus or minus 0.05), Ta (7.66 plus or minus 0.05), and Au (7.96 plus or minus 0.07).
