Thermoradiographic study of interaction of ZrO$sub 2$ with La$sub 2$$O$$sub 3$ in region of existence of La$sub 2$Zr$sub 2$$O$$sub 7$ (in Russian)

Products of the reaction of ZrO/sub 2/ and La/sub 2/O/sub 3/, obtained during th e joint precipitation of hydroxides of Zr and La and containing from 25 to 41 mol % La/sub 2/O/sub 3/, were studied radiographically. Conditions for the crystallization of phases wth pyrochlore-type structure were examined. The effect of thermal cycling of the samples on the reaction mechanism of ZrO/sub 2/ and La/sub 2/O/sub 3/ was established. Sup/ spectrum, appearing during initial heating above 1100 deg C and appearing in the spectrum of the pyrochlore-type structures with indices of 230, 422, and 620, were detected. (tr-auth)
