A block diagram and principal circuits of a high-voltage power supply for the detection units of radiometric instruments are described. It is constructed on the principle of a stabilized transformer. The instability of the high voltage caused by oscillation of the temperature of the coolant is about 0.2% at 10 deg C and is determined principally by the voltage instability of the reference element, instability of the resistance in the resistive divider chain, and temperature drift of the input current of the comparison circuit.
