THE SOLUTION OF THE BOLTZMANN EQUATION BY ASSUMING A CONSTANT RELAXATION TIME

An exact solution is given of the Boltzmar equation for electrons following the Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution in a homogeneous electrical field and in the case of constant relaxation time. Ohm's law and Joule's law can be immediately obtained from the solution. (auth)
