Translated from Probl. Prochnosti; 5: No. 1, 59-62(Jan 1973). Results from an investigation into the physicomechanical properties of molybdenum - vanadium alloys after hot deformation and annealing are examined, and the effect of microadditions of vanadium in heat-treated polycrystalline molybdenum is analyzed. On the basis of the results it can be concluded that microalloying of molybdenum with vanadium improves the physicomechanical characteristics of recrystallized molybdenum towards increased ductility at normal and high temperatures.
