A light curve for Nova Cephei 1971 of photoelectric and photographic visual magnitudes observed between June 28 and Septtemper, 24, 1971 is presented. A description of the spectral changes between July 14 and August 7, 1971 is also given. An absolute visual magnitude of 8.3 at maximum is derived.
