A method is presented for the determination of Mo in the range 50 to 1000 ppm and W in the range 25 to 550 ppm in Nb, on the basis of an aliquant representing 0.2 g of Nb sample. Toluene-3,4-dithiol forms colored complexes in acid solution with Mo and W which are extracted with isoamyl acetate. (J. R.D.)
