COLLECTIVE EXCITATION OF EVEN-EVEN ATOMIC NUCLEI (in Russian)

Collective excitation of axially symmetric even-even nuclei is investigated. It is shown that excitations of this kind can be divided into two classes: those which involve and those which do not involve appreciable changes in the nuclear quadrupole moment. The energy of collective excitations is expressed in terms of only two parameters. (tr -auth)
