INTERACTION OF SLOW $pi$-MESONS WITH NUCLEI (in Russian)

The influence is considered of the effect of the interaction of charged mesons with a nucleus on the cross section of the production of mesons on nuclei in the case when the wavelength of the meson exceeds the size of the nucleus. A relation is obtained connecting the cross section of photoproduction of mesons with the shifts and widths of mesoatomic levels. A comparison with experimental data permits of a number of conclusions concerning the interaction of mesons with groups of nucleons and the mechanism of the photoproduction of mesons on nuclei.
