The spectrophotometric and polarographic determination of uranyl ion as reductone complex was investigated. For the concentration ranges 1.8 x 10/sup -5/ to 1.0 x 10/sup -4/ g/ml I/sub d/C is constant. The thermodynamic dissociation constant of reductone was determined at 15 deg , 25 deg , and 33 deg C. The apparent dissociation constmt of uranyl reductone complex was determined at mu plus or minus 0.1 and a temperature of 25 deg C. (auth)
