From international conference on nuclear structure studies using electron scattering and photoreaction; Sendai, Japan (12 Sep 1972). See CONF- 720907-. The existence and nature of the excited state at about 20.5 MeV are investigated, and the sensitivity of the transition charge densities on the trinucleon wave functions was studied for helium 3 (e,pd) reactions at 100 MeV. No evidence was found for an excited state in the coincidence cross sections measured at photon points. (JFP)
