Electron scattering from low lying 2$sup +$ states in $sup 14$C

From international conference on nuclear structure studies using electron scattering and photoreaction; Sendai, Japan (12 Sep 1972). See CONF- 720907-. Results of measurements of the form factors and transition strengths foi- the electric quadrupole excitations of the 7.01 (2/sup +/) and 8.32 (21) MeV states in carbon-14 are reported. Incident energies varied between 60 and 120 MeV. The inelastic cross section is obtained also. (JFP)
