THE CANADIAN REACTOR NRU (in Italian)

The NRU reactor became critical, for the first time, in November 1957. It is a high flux, natural uranium fueled, heavy water moderated and cooled material testing reactor. Its thernual power is 200 Mw. This paper describes briefly the NRU plant pointing out some of the most outstanding features which are embodied in its design. (auth)
