The NRU reactor was shut down in November 1963, for conversion from natural uranium fuel to fully enriched fuel. The converted reactor will operate at about 60 Mw instead of 220 Mw, but the thermal neutron flux will remain approximately the same. Some modifications not related to the conversion are also being made. The reactor as it will be after the conversion is described. (auth)
