THE ENERGY LEVELS OF Dy$sup 16$$sup 0$

A study of the gamma -ray transitions between levels of Dy/sup 160/ resulting from the decay of Tb/sup 160/ has been made using fastslow coincidence technique. The angular correlations of six gamma -ray cascades were measured. A decay scheme is suggested and assignments for the spins of excited levels and the multipolarities of the gamma radiations are made. The results support the suggestion that the 970 kev and 1050 kev levels should be interpreted as collective vibrational levels. (auth)
