TEST DATA FROM THE 2$pi$ SOLID-ANGLE SHIELD-COVER EXPERIMENT

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4305514
The experimental data are the results of tests conducted at the Oak Ridge Tower Shielding Facility in which 2 pi solid-angle covers were used on both the reactor shield and crew shield. These tests were conducted to provide basic air- and ground-scattering data, as well as to determine the minimum requirements for facilitles needed to develop a nuclear aircraft shield. The data are presented as recorded. Some of the more important data have been selected and grouped to show the effects of the 2 pi covers. (auth)
