RADIATIONS OF Xe$sup 12$$sup 7$

Journal Article · · Physical Review (U.S.) Superseded in part by Phys. Rev. A, Phys. Rev. B: Solid State, Phys. Rev. C, and Phys. Rev. D
The radiations of Xe/sup 127/ were examined. The energies of previously observed gamma rays were found to be 58 plus or minus 1,146 plus or minus 0.5,173.0 plus or minus 0.5,204.5 plus or minus .0.5, and377.5 plus or minus 0.5 kev. Conversion electron intensities relative to gamma-ray intensities and internal conversion coefficients were measured. The experiment indicates that electron capture to the ground state is suppressed. Spin and parity assignments are proposed for the 204and 377-kev excited states of I/sup 127/ . (auth)
