Problems ln the selectlon of a valve deslgn are discussed. A method is offered for plottlng a coolant control curve according to the experlmental characteristics of the valve. Also a method ls suggested for deslgnlng the shape of a valve according to the given control curve. As an example, calcuiations are presented for a valve with and without a coupling red. (tr-auth)
