EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN REACTOR TECHNOLOGY AND RADIOISOTOPE TECHNIQUES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM

>The demand for education and training in reactor technology in the U.K. can be divided into research work, reactor design and construction, and reactor operation. Tbe various courses which have been inscribed. The ways in which industrial firms train their staffs are discussed. The facilities for education and scribed, and an account is given of the training of foreign students who have already attended some of the courses. The work of the isotope school at A.E.R.E. Harwell and other radioisotope courses in the U.K. are described. (W.D.M.)
