Reaction rates of UF/sub 4/ with dry 0/sub 2/ were determined at 550 to 815 icient laborato C by a thermogravimetric technique. The reaction is flrst order with respect to the UF/sub 4/ surface area, being dependent also on 0/sub 2/ partial pressure. The experimental procedure is given as well as a description of the apparatus and methods of rate constants determination. (J.R.D.)
