RADIOCHEMICAL REPROCESSING COSTS IN AN EXPANDING NUCLEAR ECONOMY
For presentation at the 1959 Nuclear Congress, Cleveland, April 5-10, 1959. An analysis of reprocessing costs as a function of plant size indicates that reasonable (0.35 mills/kwh) costs may be attained by private industry around 1970. It could be advantageous to stockpile spent fuel during the early years rather than build small plants to process the fuel as discharged. (auth)
