The influence of accelerated electrons on the highfrequency accelerating system in a high-energy synchrotron was investigated. It is shown thnt along with the active load in the feeding generator produced by accelerated electrons, it is also necessary to consider the reactive load. It is also indicated that the division of acceleration into separate parts induces energy losses due to the positive resonator excitation by accelerated electrons. Means are shown for reducing such losses. (R.V.J.)
