INVESTIGATIONS OF ($gamma$,pn) AND ($gamma$,d) REACTIONS WITH GAMMA ENERGIES TO 32 Mev (in German)
Photon induced two-particle emission was investigated with a 32 Mev betatron. The yields of the following ( gamma ,pn and ( gamma ,d) reactions were determined: Ca/sup 40/ ( gamma , pn) K/sup 38/ Zn/sup 64/( gamma ,pn)Cu/sup 62/, Zn/sup 66/( gamma ,pn) As/sup 78/, Mo/sup 92/( gamma ,pn)Nb/sup 90/, and Sb/sup 123/,( gamma ,pn)Sn/sup 121/, The cross sections vs. photon energy relationship was measured for the reactions Ca/sup 40/( gamma ,pn)K/sup 38/and Zn/sup 66/( gamma ,pn) Cu/sup 64/. The in tegrated cross section of the Zn/sup 66/( gamma ,nn)Zn/sup 64/ process is about double that of the ( gamma ,pn) + ( gamma ,d) reaction on Zn /sup 66/. The value for the Zn/sup 66/( gamma ,nn) reaction is calculated from statistical theory to be sigma Zn/sup 66/( gamma = 0.088 Mev barn. The yield of ( gamma ,pn) + ( gamma d) reactions together with the yield of ( gamma , sigma ) and ( gamma ,p) reactions was plotted as a function of nuclear charge. It is evident, that the ( gamma ,d + gamma ,pn) yields have the same shape as the ( gamma ,p) reactions. (auth)
