In relation with investigations of photon-induced particle emission with a 32-Mev betatron. as well as with measurements of angular correlations and beta -spectrometric analysis radiochemical separation methods were developed for the following elements: Zn/Cu, Sb/Sn, Mo/Nb, Ta/Lu, Tl/Au, Ta/W, Pb/Bi, Fe/Mn, Cu/Co, and Re/Ta. It was proved that carrier-free methods and methods having a minimum carrier give the best results. The yield of each separation was plotted as a function of the carrier quantity to discover the best one. The cross-section- photon-energy relation was investigated for the reactions- Zn/sup 68/( gamma ,p)Cu/sup 67/ Zn/sup 66/( gamma ,pn)Cu/sup 64/, Tl/sup 205/( gamma , alpha )Au/ sup 201/, and Tl/sup 205/( gamma ,n alpha )Au /sup 200/. The integrated cross sections were determined for: Zn/sup 68/( gamma ,p)Cu/sup 67/ Zn/sup 66/( gamma ,pn)Cu/sup 64/ Mo/sup 92/( gamma ,pn)Nb/sup 90/ Sb/sup 121/Ta/sup 181/( gamma , alpha )Lu/sup 177/, Tl/sup 205/( gamma , alpha )Au/sup 201/, and Tl/sup 205/ (gamma,n alpha)Au/sup 200/. In contrast to earlier literature data, the reactions Zn/sup 68/( gamma ,p)Cu/sup 67/ and Zn/sup 66/( gamma ,pn)Cu/sup 64/ did not show extremely large cross sections. (auth)
