CONCERNING THE USE OF SPARK COUNTERS FOR THE DETECTION OF FAST NEUTRONS

A study of the possibility of using the Chang and Rosenblum spark counter for the detection of alpha particles and the detection of fast neutrons is presented. The optimum operating conditions of the spark counters were determined. The counters were filled with nitrogen, hydrogen, or air. (W.D.M.)
