PARAMAGNETIC RESONANCE OF TERBIUM IN NITRATE (in Russian)

The paramagnetic resonance spectrum of Tb/sup 3+/ ion was observed in lanthanum nitrate monocrystal containing 0.1% terbium nitrate. The spectrum consisted of a single electron transition spallated into four lines corresponding to Tb/sup 159/ nuclear spin 3/4. Measurements were made at 13 K and 8970 and 9870 mc. (R.V.J.)
