The spectrum of conversion electrons accompanying alpha decay of Pu/ sup 238/ and Pu/sup 240/ was studied with a largeaperture magnetic spectrometer with toroidal field shape, measuring alpha -e coincidences. Transitions from the 6+ excited levels were detected. The multipolarity and more precise energy values were determined for transitions from the 4+ and 21 levels. (tr-auth)
