URANIUM IN SOME FRENCH GRANITES (in French)

Journal Article · · Geochim. et Cosmochim. Acta
The laws of statistical distribution of uranium and potassium in a French granite massif in Brittany are given. Systematic analyses have allowed geographical distribution of these two elements and the establishment of the existence of correlations between the petrographic characteristics and the uranium contents. The statistical and geographic variations of the uranium content were studied as a function of the potassium content of the granite and as a function of the presence of uraniferous deposits.
