THE ROLE OF THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY IN THE FORMATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A DETONATION WAVE IN A CONDENSED EXPLOSIVE (in French)

Journal Article · · compt. rend.
OSTI ID:4273458
The thermal conductivity of a condensed explosive receiving a shock wave was found to be of the order of lO/sup 6/ times greater than it was in normal conditions. A thermal scheme of formation and matntenance of the detonation wave in a condensed explosive was proposed, based on this fact. (tr- auth)
