THE ACCELERATION OF A SHOCK WAVE GENERATING THE DETONATION OF A CONDENSED EXPLOSIVE (in French)

Journal Article · · Compt. rend.
OSTI ID:4266985
When a shock wave causes the detonation of a condensed explosive, there is an acceleration of this shock wave in the zone preceding the originating section of the detonation. This result permits the confirmation of a thermal scheme for the formation and support of a detonation wave in a condensed explosive. (tr-auth)
