INACTIVATION OF SPORES OF BACILLUS ANTHRACIS BY $gamma$-RADIATION
Results obtained from an investigation into the sterilizing efficiency of gamma radiation against spores of Bacillus anthracis are reported. The tests indicate that the most sensitive strain of B. anthracis failed to grow after 1.0 x 10/sup 6/ rad while the most resistant needed 1.5 x 10/sup 6/ rad for inactivation. (J.H.M.)
