Journal Article · · Bull. acad. polon. sci. Ser. sci. Chim. geol. et geograph.
OSTI ID:4267077
The absorption spectra of uranyl nitrate in acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, acetylacetone, 1,4-dioxace, acetonitrile, and formamide were investigated within the visible and near ultra-violet ranges of 360 to 500 m ic , using a Zeisa universal spectrophotometer. For sake of comparison the spectrum of uranyl nitrate was also made in water. The absorption data are discussed and tabulated. (J.H.M.)
