An autoradiographic technique for low-energy radioisotopes is described which is quick and convenient. The method depends upon dipping prepared histologic specimens, without coverslips, into melted bulk emulsion. The technique may be varied io suit specific research requirements. The use of the dipping techniques for making autoradiograms is superior to the stripping film technique in speed and convenience in making the initial preparations and yields autoradiograms of equal resolution. The technique is recommended for routine use where grain counting will not be done. (auth)
