EFFECTS OF BORON ON THE CARBONIZATION IN AUSTENITE STEEL DURING ANNEALING (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Fiz. Metal. i Metalloved.
OSTI ID:4259177
Data on the effects of boron on chromium -manganese --nickel steel (with nitrogen) intercrystalline corrosion after quenching at 1100 C and annealing at 650 C show that boron slows down the formation of carbide formation at the austenite grain boundary. (R.V.J.)
