Dosimetric properties of the typical laboratory 6 wt.% Ru-U all counters STS-5 (10 mm in dlameter, 65 mm operating length and 48.5 mg/cm/sup 2/ wall thickness), STS-6 (18 mm in diameter, 130 mm operating length, and steel wall thickness 48.5 mg/cm/sup 2/), and MST-17 front window counter (20 mm in diameter with 5 mg/cm/sup 2/ mica window thickness) were tested. The sensitivity dependence of the STS-5, STS-6, and MST-17 counters on the radiation energy E/sub y/ was plotted, and the values tabulated. (R.V.J.)
