The ratio of the photodeuteron yield to the photoproton yield was measured for gold irradiated with 70 Mev maximum energy bremsstrahlung. The ratio was found to equal 0.14 sintering time 0.07. The protons and deuterons were identified by grain eounting over the last 90 ic of the particle range in the emulsion. (auth)
