Methods were developed for ihe quantitative spectrographic determination of 0.005 to 3% of hafnium in zirconium dioxide. Samples are burned as thin powder layers on carbon electrodes. The accuracy of the determinations is satisfactory for the control of the separation of hafnium from zirconium. (tr- auth)
