A radiation intensity measuring instrument is described in which the output of a halogen-quenched Geiger-Mueller tube is added to the current for recharging the capacitor between the anode and cathode of a cold-cathode trigger tube. This sum current flows through an indicator circuit giving an over-all logarithmic characteristic with increased range of measurement. (T.R.H.)
