A 2 pi counter and an end window counter were calibrated for the absolute counting of Sr/sup 89/, Y/sup 90/, Ba-La/sup 140/ and Sr--Y/sup 90/, and the calibration factors were compared. Correetion factors were given through which calibration factors for the short-lived isotopes Sr/sup 90/,Y/sup 90/ and Ba-La/sup 140/ could be calculated from the calibration factors determined for the long-lived Sr--Y/sup 90/.
