The ion exchange of the uranyl ion on Amberlite Ir-120 resin was studied with different uranyl ion concentrations. Elution with sulfuric acid was investlgated and the elution curve for the experimental conditions was determined. From the concentrations of the ions of Cu/sup 2+/, Ni/sup 2+/, Fe/sup 3+/, Cd/sup 2+/, Mn/sup 2+/, and Cr/sup 3+/ the maximum exchange capacity was tested and elation curves with 4 N sulfuric acid were obtained.
