TRANSITORY PHENOMENA AND NUCLEAR RELAXATION OF OPTICALLY ORIENTED Hg$sup 19$$sup 9$ (in French)

Journal Article · · Compt. rend.
OSTI ID:4238637
The transitory phenomena for establishment of the nuclear orientation of Hg/sup 199/ permit measurement of the longitudinal relaxation time. The nutation'' of the nuclear spins of Hg/sup 199/ is also observed optically in a magnetic resonance. The transversal relaxation time is then deduced. (tr-auth)
